Last night Usher was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 BET Awards! With that award comes a musical tribute, often performed by other artists paying homage to the awardee. Well with the exception of Childish Gambino, the rest of the tribute cast were ladies! Coco Jones, Chloe Bailey, Tinashe, Teyana Taylor, Victoria Monet, Marsha Ambrosius, Summer Walker, and Keke Palmer took to the stage to perform an array of Usher anthems! The tribute got mixed reviews, from people praising the women in the game right now to others confused on why more fellas didn’t contribute.
