The child support battle between NBA star Anthony Edwards and Ayesha Howard—who is also the mother of Lil Baby’s son—continues to heat up.

Reports recently surfaced alleging that Edwards attempted to settle child support by offering Howard a one-time $1 million payment to cover expenses for their daughter, Aubri Summers Howard, for the next 18 years. However, Howard took to social media to set the record straight, denying that such an offer was ever made.

Howard, 37, made it clear that she and Edwards, 23, never had any discussions about a lump-sum payment. While court documents confirm that she has filed for temporary child support, Howard insists the public narrative about a $1 million payout is false.

But beyond the financial dispute, many are questioning Edwards’ level of involvement in his daughter’s life. According to court records, the NBA star has not filed for any custody of the child, fueling speculation that he wants no part in raising her.

As the legal battle unfolds, Howard has also faced backlash online, with some accusing her of having the baby for financial gain. She didn’t hold back in her response, calling out critics for their double standards.

“Please stop saying I had this baby for money,” she wrote in a fiery social media post. “What if I came to your page and said you kept that baby for a couple extra hundred dollars in food stamps?”

Her blunt remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some defending her stance while others continue to question her motives.

As of now, a Georgia judge has yet to determine how much Edwards will be required to pay in child support. In the meantime, Howard has stated that she is unemployed and relying on family support to provide for her daughter.

With emotions running high and legal proceedings still unfolding, this child support battle is far from over.
