Dilemma: Doctors Deny Woman A Liver Transplant…Too Harsh?
A 36 year old woman has been denied a partial liver transplant — being provided by her own partner — because she had been drinking WHILE on the waiting list!
Yeah you heard right! Following a past of alcoholism — Amanda found herself on life support awaiting a much needed liver. When the doctors discovered that she had relapsed before being admitted to the hospital — they denied her the transplant she do desperately needed. We asked our cousins if they thought this was too harsh of the doctors and the majority believe she didn’t deserve the transplant.
