CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO reporting) –

Exactly one month after a local gang leader was convicted of kidnapping and aggravated murder, Julius Webster will be sentenced for his crimes.

Webster was found guilty in Judge Michael Astrab’s courtroom for a carjacking and the robbery and murder of 31-year-old Curtis Leon Marks, Jr.

Webster was indicted for “participating in a criminal gang” as part of the ‘heartless felons” street gang. Prosecutors say this was only the second time they have used the gang charge.
