‘Boondocks’ breaks ratings record
The season 4 premiere of “The Boondocks” set a new standard for Adult Swim. According to Shadow and Act, 1.4 million viewers in the 18-34 audience segment tuned in on the first airing, making “The Boondocks” season 4 debut the most-watched show on Adult Swim in five years.
“The Boondocks” did so well last Monday that it even beat out “The Voice” on NBC and the NBA Playoffs on TNT. A new episode of the cartoon, featuring Huey Freeman and his hilarious family, airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.

Columbus Short not returning to ‘Scandal’
Bye, Harrison! Columbus Short is leaving ABC’s hit drama “Scandal” after just two years on the show. UsMagazine.com reports that his character Harrison Wright will not be featured on season 4.
“At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today,” Columbus said in statement, thanking show creator Shonda Rhimes and her production company along with ABC and “Scandal” fans everywhere. “I have enjoyed every single minute of it.”
Columbus’ exit comes amid his mounting legal troubles, stemming from his felony battery charges for a bar fight. He’d also been charged with misdemeanor spousal battery after a reported domestic incident on Valentine’s Day with his estranged wife Tuere Short. TMZ.com reports that ABC wanted to fire him because of his recent arrests, but no one from the network has confirmed those rumors. Columbus didn’t address those speculations in his statement.
“Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas,” Columbus said before bidding his cast mates a fond farewell. “I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry [Washington] and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.”

Peter Thomas confirms spin-off?
Peter Thomas is leaking new details on his “Real Housewives of Atlanta” spin-off. The restauranteur has been angling to get more visibility for himself and the other husbands on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” all season, and it seems as he’s parlayed that into his own show.
Peter, who is married to “RHOA” supermodel Cynthia Bailey, revealed that his establishment Bar One will be the focus of the show. Think something along the lines of “Vanderpump Rules” but for the Atlanta cast. Peter announced the show with a post on Instagram of a new establishment that is currently under construction.
Earlier this month, Peter stated that”Building Bar One” would appear on Bravo, but there’s no clear idea on when it will air. However, it’s worth pointing out that the show may not actually be filmed in Atlanta. Snapshots that Peter posted along with the announcement seem to be of his new bar Sports One, which is actually opening in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Joseline and Stevie J imitate Mimi Faust’s shower trick
Joseline isn’t impressed with news of Mimi Faust’s sex tape, and she’s not tripping about that infamous shower scene, either. In fact, Mimi’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” co-star thinks she can improve on the trick.
Instead of swinging from the shower rod like Mimi, Joseline decided to let her husband Stevie J hit the pole in a new post on Instagram while she counted their cash. She captioned the shot, “On my way to Tuscaloosa. #PlayHouse #badbishezzzz #GetMoney.”
