After weeks of anticipation, our favorite celebs have packed the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the 2013 Video Music Awards and it couldn’t have come on a more iconic date than the day that Aaliyah passed away, 12 years ago.

Drake, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke are slated to hit the stage and we’re expecting plenty of surprises that will bring enough moments to be the topic of coffee talk and water cooler conversations tomorrow. And yes, Danity Kane will be announcing their comeback!
